Leonard Oulian is intrigued by the fact that electronic technology has become an important part in our daily life and he aimed to show what is hidden from the eyes of the consumer. He is representing electronic circuits as extraordinary objects where the perfection of their design becomes almost something ethereal.
+ Read MoreLeonard likes the idea of a world made of infinite connections, between people, objects, feelings, states, planets, minds, just as the links he develops on his technological mandalas. Shapes and colours of the single components intrigued him for pure aesthetic reasons with the consequent loss of the actual functionality of the component itself. The artist thinks about his mandalas like ephemeral gizmos, able to trigger the eyes and minds of the viewers with images and thoughts of any sort, but without take it to seriously.
