With his project ‘Honkey Kong’ Christian Åslund turned the world into a real 2D video game. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, which is a fairly small city for being a capital without any major tall rising buildings, he was amazed of the view from the skyscraper rooftops in Hong Kong and developed the concept for this project.
+ Read MoreThe characters seem to be navigated through the streets as in an old-school side-scrolling games like Donkey Kong. The images were shot from skyscrapers towards the ground, using a tele lens, while the colorful road markings of Hong Kong perfectly recreated the levels of a video game.
