The structure consisting of reinforced concrete is perfectly integrated into the surrounding environment. In order to avoid having to cut down trees, Carl-Viggo Hølmebakk simply included the pine trees into the structure. Rectangular openings in the floor allow rain and sunlight to get down to the terrain, creating a certain weightlessness of the platform.
