Marc Dennis creates hyperrealistic paintings that are centered around the act of looking. Marc heightens a voyeuristic experience, suggesting a typical human behavior. His actors stand, peek, gaze and stare at that art that’s unfolding before them, transforming the viewer into an active part of the painting itself. The spectator becomes a participant in the pseudo-narrative and thus the meaning of the piece.
