Slavik Summerhouse

Words

These two summer houses by Arkitekt Mats Fahlander are located between two Fjords on the Swedish northern Westcoast.
The ground was left untouched so the houses float above the rocks. The rounded roofs got their form from the surrounding rocks. The geometry of the plan is simple; a living room close to the ocean is for cooking, eating and socializing while the rear section contains bedrooms and the entrance hall. Large glasspanels can be slided to the side so that all rooms can be open towards the outside.
