Studio DE.MATERIA finished the House on the Hills located in Chodziez, a small city in Poland. The house offers an amazing view on the surrounding hills and the lake below. A garage had been placed on top of the building which can be easily accessed from the street and from the house. The living space opens up below the garage, giving the impression that the house had been nestled in the hill.
+ Read MoreIf you step further down, you’ll fin the kitchen and dinning area which is twice as high as the other rooms featuring large glass fronts to create a free and open space. The whole house is cladded in corten steel while the garden appears as a natural covered hill interrupted by seemingly floating terraces that are accessible from the living and dining room.
