The Blue Room Paintings By Anwen Keeling

In her latest work ‘The Blue Room’ australian artist Anwen Keeling creates sensual oil paintings of the female form as defined by diffused light and shadow coming from the windows. With a feeling of voyuerism and a sense of intrusion on a personal moment the paintings gain an emotional quality. She said: ‘I wanted the work to have a timeless feel with a subtle sense of psychological tension’.
