Grotto Sauna by Partisans

Perched at the north-west edge of a private island close to Toronto, the Grotto Sauna by Partisans is a sculpted space that was modeled using a state of the art 3-D technology.
The architects took the challenge to create a free-standing structure that not only respected, but also matured from the context. The selected concept prescribes a solid, simple presence on the exterior, while the interior follows dynamic air movements in curvature forms; requiring design solutions.
