In his latest series ‘Vanishing Point‘, Dutch designer Sebastian Brajkovic explores the idea of rotation in sculptural furniture. His latest works are exhibited at the Carpenters Workshop Gallery in Paris and feature warped pieces of furniture that look as if they’re being sucked into a vortex. In a statement about his work, Brajkovic says, “When I like the old, I show the new in the old. When I am drawn to function I consider the deconstruction of this function, when I convey movement, it best explains itself in stillness. Juxtapositions reveal each other’s appearance.”
