A Spiky Artist Studio At The Scottish Seaside By Studio Weave

The architects behind Studio Weave designed a spiky artist workspace above a stream near the Scottish seaside. The exterior of the house is clad with a zinc coating, while the interior is kept simple with warm wooden tones. One of the most interesting features of the house is a floor window that allows the artist to watch the flowing water underneath. The architects say that their main goal was “to reflect the artist’s lifelong connection to the site and that much of their practice is associated with the place.”
