‘House in Yatsugatake’ is a sleek modern home with a dramatic cantilever located on the side of a mountain in Nagano, Japan. Designed by Kidosaki Architects Studio, the minimal building features a living room that appears to be floating and has panoramic views of the surrounding nature. Two diagonal steel cylinders, which are 300 meters wide, were used to support the overhanging floor.
