Designed by Urban Office Architecture, ‘Aviator’s Villa’ is a building designed using salvaged airplane parts with the aim of giving the retired pilot-owner a feeling of living in the clouds. The building, which is located in Dutchess County, New York, is suspended on stilts and features geometric-inspired glass windows. In a statement about the structure, the architects say, “This project explores the idea of flight as a powerful motivator for architectural darings.”
