Photographer Hollie Fernando Explores Escapism In Nature

London-based photographer Hollie Fernando captures serene nudes in nature for her latest series “In The Shadows Of The Sun”. In her work, the 23-year-old explores themes such as isolation and freedom as well as the urge for escapism among young people. In a statement about the project, Fernando told us: “I want my photos to reflect the same tranquility I feel when I take them, whether it’s by having my subjects floating in rivers or lying in the tall grass. I want the viewer to find their own peace in the moments I’ve captured, especially now that the days are getting darker.”
