Striking Fashion Portraits By Erik Madigan Heck

Fashion photographer Erik Madigan Heck shot a striking editorial for Junya Watanabe‘s fall 2015 collection, which first appeared in New York Magazine. The photographs feature the sculptural design pieces with bold and geometric forms in a minimal setting. In a statement about the concept, Heck says, “The images blur the line between photography and handmade paper cut-outs, helping to distance the designer’s creations further from the three dimensional reality they aim to reject”. His work has been featured in The New York Times Magazine and Harper’s Bazaar UK among others.
