Athens-based 314 Architecture Studio created a sleek villa with a contemporary design that was built with sustainability in mind. Using only eco-friendly materials, the ergonomic structure consists of a tank that collects water as well as solar and photovoltaic panels to provide the building with energy and electric power. On the concept behind the design, architect Pavlos Chatziangelidis says: “The house was designed to give a sense of contact with the water element inspired by the owner’s love for yachts. The contact of the house and the artificial ponds that surround it create a cooling sensation.”
