For his first solo exhibition titled ‘Urban Inertia’, artist Isaac Cordal created a new series of subversive miniature works featuring small figures made of resin. The powerful hyperreal pieces seem to illustrate scenes that comment on the corporate and political environment with a satirical touch. We’ve featured his installations before. In a statement about his work, which he refers to as ‘Cement Eclipses’, Cordal explains: “‘Cement Eclipses’ is a critical definition of our behavior as a social mass. The artwork intends to catch the attention of our devalued relation with the nature through a critical look to the collateral effects of our evolution.”
