Recap: Sunday Pleasure Workshop With Mary Lennox Flowers

Last Sunday saw our debut workshop with Mary Lennox Flowers where we learned how to make our own festive wreaths for the upcoming holiday season…
We spent a cozy afternoon at our Berlin studio, where florist Ruby Barber and her team gave us a peek into their approach to making delicate non-traditional wreaths. Inspired by Scandinavian holiday decorations, Barber first showed us how to make the a geometric copper structure that holds the wreath when hung. Then the guests created the wreaths using a selection of pine branches, dried hops vine and clematis seed pods among others. Afterwards, the team behind Mary Lennox Flowers offered advice on how to put finishing touches on the wreaths. And just as we hung the last wreath on the wall, it began to snow for the first time this year. After the workshop, we stuck around for a chat over a cup of tea and homemade brownies…
Thank you to P & T – Paper And Tea for providing a selection of teas for the event and Patricia Zhou from The Ballerina Chef for baking delicious treats. Most of all, thank you so much to everyone who participated.
We look forward to inviting you soon again and if you’d like to be updated about any upcoming workshops in the future, sign up here for our newsletter.
