A Broken Figure Made Of Volcanic Ash By Daniel Arsham

Known for his sculptures made of unusual materials, New York-based artist Daniel Arsham created a broken figure made of selenite crystal and volcanic ash. The sculpture consists of five separate body parts that reveal the shape of a woman. The eerie artwork was first shown at the exhibition booth of Baró Galeria at UNTITLED art fair in Miami. Arsham works in the fields of art, architecture as well as performance art and we’ve featured his work before.
