Italian artist Lorenzo Vitturi installed a series of neon light sculptures in the ornately decorated rooms of a Venetian palace. The artist, who works between London, Milan and Venice, brings his experience as a cinema set painter to his photographic practice, creating site-specific installations that explore the manipulation of space. Speaking of the intention behind his work, which he named “Neon Intervention“, Vitturi says, “The intention was to transform the historic environment of the palace into a metaphysical space playing with the contrast between classic and contemporary.”
