Buenos Aires-based practice Six & Five Studio collaborated with a team of graphic designers and art directors to create still lifes with a morbid touch.
The series ‘Morbo’ consists of five digital paintings and one 3D-printed sculpture. According to the studio, the aim was to give new meaning to the still life with unseen compositions of natural amorphous objects. In a statement about the series of artworks, the team says: “Attracted by the organization of the space, these graphic designers and art directors create their experiences in a world of three coordinates, where the volume is a constant. Exploring the obsessive curiosity between the thin limit between the aesthetic and the unpleasantness thing, emerges ‘Morbo’.”
