Budapest-based photographer Bianka Schumann created a series of intimate black-and-white analogue photographs simply entitled ‘.’
Schumann, who counts Hungarian philosopher Béla Hamvas amongst her inspirations, took the personal series in 2014, creating the scratches whilst processing and enlarging the photos. Having graduated from the University of Kaposvár with a BA in photography, Schumann has had her work featured in several group exhibitions and online publications. Speaking of the idea behind the series, she explains, “This series doesn’t have an exact synopsis. It reflects on a quote from a Hungarian writer, philosopher Béla Hamvas.” For more of her work, take a look at her portfolio and website.“This series doesn’t have an exact synopsis.
