A Rollable Wooden Table Top By Nathalie Dackelid

Scroll

Swedish designer Nathalie Dackelid created the ‘Wooden Cloth’, a versatile table that can be either rolled up or down.

Made of locally sourced ash wood, the flexible furniture piece can be adapted to the space available as well as different living situations. After exploring industrial design, art and architecture, Dackelid settled on furniture design as her main subject.

In a statement about her work, the designer says: “The main part of my work is the craftsmanship and the feel of materials. I strive for designs that are true to the materials and allowing the materials properties take place, in a visually and sustainable manner. I am inspired by reusing craft and apply it in a new context.” For more tables, take a look at our shop.
