Japanese architecture practice Process5 Design created the ‘T Weekend Residence’, a concrete retreat overlooking the sea near the city of Osaka.
Described as a “playground for grownups” by the architects, the building’s client brief required a space for relaxing and pursuing leisure activities. The minimal structure’s design features spacious living areas as well as an indoor pool with a view. In a statement about the concept behind the four-story structure, the studio says: ?”Each floor is connected through this volume, which deviates from the scale of a living room, provides a different view, light and wind environment.”
