The Personal Worlds Of Malgorzata Sajur

As an exceptionally accessible medium and one of the most democratic art disciplines, photography ceaselessly attracts amateurs. Thanks to the Internet, self-taught artists can display their work broadly and gain attention, despite being outside the official art industry. Working as a PE teacher in her day job, Malgorzata Sajur treats photography as an after-hours escape from her daily routine. Receiving her works as a submission, we were intrigued by the dark and mysterious atmosphere of the photographs. The project ‘My Anxieties’ consists mainly of intimate self-portraits and long-exposure landscapes. Treating photography as a means of expressing her inner feelings and emotions, Malgorzata created a truly personal series that will stay with us for a long time.
