To launch the first in our series of iGNANT Issue weeks, in which all our features explore one idea – this time ‘The Art Of Waiting’, we asked London-based photographer Trisha Ward to interpret the topic for us with an exclusive editorial.
Her crisp, clear images work wonders with light. With an eye for the elegant and the ephemeral, Ward’s photography has a lightness to it. Whether she’s shooting in black and white or her trademark muted pastel color palette, her crisp, clear images work wonders with light. Focussing on portraiture, fashion and editorial work, Ward has knack for capturing the human body at its most relaxed, free self, while bringing out an intensity in her subjects’ eyes. The following stills, created in collaboration with stylist Ellie Witt, reveal Ward’s exquisite take on ‘The Art of Waiting’.
