Stockholm Based Studio E.O. designed a series of sculptural vases made of marble, granite and hand blown glass that interplay with geometric and organic forms.
“The indefinite vases”, the design studio says, “are sculptures or containers. Functional or decorative. The contrast between the cut stone and the form of the hand blown glass emphasizes the relation between space and object, an interplay between a fragile material and its solid counterpart.” Studio E.O, named after its designer Erik Olovsson, is a multidisciplinary design practice that works within the fields of product, furniture and graphic design.
