After living in Vietnam for a couple of years Dutch photographer Loes Heerink started the project ‘Vendors From Above’ on Kickstarter, capturing the beauty of Hanoi’s street vendors and their colorful goods.
Starting the day with sunrise the street vendors whom are mostly women are transporting fruits, vegetables and flowers through the city on their bikes. Heeriks, following their daily routines, spent sometimes hours on bridges to catch the right moment at the right time: “They create little pieces of art every day, without knowing it.”
