Graphic artist Yelena Smith’s work focuses on collages, bringing newly composed fashion ads and magazine snippets to an artistic level. The collage is a technique that assembles different forms, creating a whole new appearence. Picasso and Braque worked with collages in the beginning of the 20th century and made it an art form of novelty.
Yelena Smith is a Spanish-born multidisciplinary graphic artist based in London. She has worked in publishing, digital and patterns design for fashion brands and magazines like Interview or Vein.
