Italian contemporary designer and ceramicist Paola Paronetto creates collections of interior objects made from clay, marked by a distinguishable lined finish that is individual to Paronetto’s practice.
Her products range from decorative interior design pieces of different shapes, colors, and sizes, including vases, bowls, light fixtures, and cacti. “Her experimentation is the spontaneous result of a deep feeling of the beauty that springs from nature”, reads a statement from her website, “and from the simplicity of formal content”. Her exclusive and refined pieces get their individual texture from adding paper pulp and fiber to the ceramic mixture, which gives each object a tactile and interesting surface.
