New York City-based studio Slash Objects believe in thoughtful design; a belief they enact in the local production and construction of unique objects and furniture pieces for the home.
Slash Objects is the design outpost of Slash Projects, the multidisciplinary creative agency of architect Arielle Assouline-Lichten. The object collection launched in 2016, and merges Assouline-Lichten’s eye for materiality and detail with sustainable product design. Utilizing deliberately disparate materials, Assouline-Lichten has created pieces that range from daybeds to coffee tables and mirrors. Notably, many of her pieces incorporate recycled rubber, giving a chic second life to post-consumer matter that would otherwise end up discarded as waste.
