Australia-based photographer Natalie McComas created the series ‘In This Skin’ together with VSCO’s Artist Iniative for which she wants to travel across the world, meeting wonderful people, who have lived this life with birthmark, and telling their stories on her VSCO Grid.

Hodgson herself states: “I love my birthmark’s spectrum of colour. When I’m warm it’s a kind of red-purple, like the colour of some plums and when I’m cold it’s a vivid, almost neon blue. I also like how it’s a kind of protective barrier protecting me against non-accepting and unthoughtful people.” Natalie McComas also created a Facebook Group that celebrates unique skin formations.
Her travel shots are also really beautiful, she’s really having an eye for the special details which makes her ‘In This Skin’ documentary a perfect fir to the rest of her imagery.
