Studio Berg Designed A Drying Rack That Doubles As Wall Art

‘Foldwork‘ is a sleek drying/clothing rack that can double as wall art designed by Studio Berg. Made of brass, the piece can also be unfolded to provide more space to hang laundry. Friederike Deilius, founder of Studio Berg, originally developed the concept for her diploma. In a statement about the design, she says, “The initial idea for this project was to provide disregarded and primarily functional products in our household with a new appearance and give them their own personality in order to get them out of the utility rooms into the flat’s center of living.”
