Chocolates That Illustrate Japanese Words By Design Studio Nendo

For the project ‘Chocolatexture‘, Japanese studio Nendo created cleverly designed chocolates in various textures. Each one of the chocolates features a unique shape that illustrates another Japanese expression for the word ‘texture’ – for instance, “poki-poki”, a cube frame made of chocolate sticks, and “tubu-tubu”, small chunks of chocolate drops. On the inspiration behind it, the designers say: “There are many factors that determine a chocolate’s taste. In coming up with a new chocolate concept, we turned our attention not to such factors, but to the chocolate’s ‘shape’.”
