Birgit Toke Tauka Frietman

The presentation of nature in minimal art is the starting-point for Birgit Toke Tauka’s collection, in which contrasts meet in a mediated balance. She has shaped 7 pieces in her collection by drawing on biodiversity in nature as well as on geometry. Her chose materials are European walnut and grey wool felt. Wooden sheets and frames of minimalistic design, and yet of strong impact, have been shaped into steam-bent curves so as to follow the complex shapes of the female body.
