Lights Exploring Dawn Illumination By Sabine Marcelis

Rotterdam-based designer Sabine Marcelis created ‘Dawn Lights‘, a series of neon sculptures playing on the relationship between light, color, saturation and transparency. The ‘Dawn Lights’ were created as an exclusive commission for Victor Hunt Designart Dealer, and form part of a larger set of light works entitled Voie Light Series. Each Dawn Light is formed from a white neon tube in tinted cast resin. Speaking of her motivation behind the work, Marcelis says she was inspired by “A time in the day where the sun, clouds and sky join to create a momentary riot of hues.” For more lighting products, take a look at our shop.
