Italian studio Moramarco+Ventrella Architetti undertook the restoration of a multi-purpose space into ‘Casa CS’, a minimal white block home.
In contrast to its neighboring buildings, the stark residence features clean lines and an elegant facade, centered around its inhabitants’ privacy and the maximization of internal light. Sliding timber shutters soften the bright exterior. The pared back interior reflects the house’s facade with timber walls and doors contrasting with the white walls. A top-floor studio leads to a balcony via a floating staircase.
