Saint Petersburg-based designer Yaroslav Misonzhnikov created the ‘Katerina’ vanity set in the style of Russian folk art.

Consisting of a mirror, a comb and the folding lace fan inspired by the fan gifted to Russian Empress Mariya Fedorovna in 1883. The intricate, geometric lace pattern contrasts sharply with the smooth, minimal form of the fan. Speaking about the inspiration behind his work, Misonzhnikov says, “My collection is dedicated to my granny, who lived in Vologda.
