“We try to capture a feeling through the stories and the products tell their pathos.”Founded in 2012, the Porto-based brand’s name refers to the fictional relationship between two lovers: Jagger creates pieces inspired by Ginger’s travels around the world. Having presented their latest collection at the 2016 Salone del Mobile in Milan, Working with wood, marble, bronze and copper, the brand’s range encompasses tables, mirrors, lighting and rugs. Here we share a series of conceptual photos which were taken at marble pit and abandoned metal mine in Alentejo, Portugal, along with a slider of their most popular products. “Our design has a larger spectrum than the products themselves.“ explains CEO and creative director Paula Sousa. “It’s part of a narrative. We try to capture a feeling through the stories and the products tell their pathos.”
