A Modern Parish Church In Mexico

Located in the city of Monterrey, Mexico, the church designed by Moneo Brock arches into the sky in a number of crystal-like projections. Situated in the new urban center of the city, ‘El señor de la misericordia’ faces a dramatic mountain landscape. An example of undoubtedly modern architecture, the church can house up to 350 people. Its interiors are also designed by Moneo Brock, from wood benches to the altar, the choir and the sliding doors. One of the most unique features of this project is a skylight above the altar that shapes the sunlight into a cross and casts it onto the wall.
