The futuristic Miami Beach home of the late-architect Dame Zaha Hadid has recently sold to a new owner. The one-of-a-kind sculptured residence was one of dozens of projects left behind when the famed architect suddenly passed away in 2016.
Hadid’s signature architecture style is apparent throughout the spacious 3-bedroom apartment, which measures at 2541 square meters. The apartment captures sea breezes by facing southeast towards the ocean, with expansive views of the turquoise water ahead. Hadid filled her home away from home with some of her favorite art and furniture creations that she designed during her career. This includes the white Zephyr Sofa and the glass Liquid Glacial Tables, that feature ripple patterns with fluorescent yellow color splayed through them. Besides such unique interiors, the apartment is minimally furnished to let its design speak for itself. A recent project completed by Zaha Hadid Architects includes the Morpheus hotel in Macau, which you can read about here.
