Portuguese architects ‘Frederico Valsassina Architectos’ created this house in Quinta Patino, Portugal. The design is based on one constant module, following the shape of a parallelepiped. Thereby they tried to visually extend the interior space to the outer space.

The volume is apparently larger than it actually is, since the building passes into the outdoor spaces and vice versa. Especially at night it looks welcoming and warm, with its big windows and open areas glowing at night.
