A walk in the afternoon, a stroll through residential areas with apartement towers. Wandering together through the streets at night. Bryan M. Ferguson’s pictures seem like a long walk with friends. With names like ‘The Scissor Bandit’ or ‘The Red Thread’ in combination with graphic elements almost give us an impression of looking at young women shown as a young heroines with superpowers from a comic book or a humansized puppet.
+ Read MoreAt the same time the characters are mysterious and seem to leave a question unanswered. By working with a high contrast and reduced color, the Scottish photographer and filmmaker manages to move the subject of his photographs, in a very simple and quiet way to the foreground.
