Odires Mlászho is an artist of transformation based in the busy centre of São Paulo, Brazil. His mission is not simply decontextualize objects but actually deep transformation of images, words and objects. Using for example books as a medium, he created a series of intricate book sculptures.

Odires Mlászho created the sculptures by taking thick volumes and merging them together page by page until they are inseparably bound. As a result of the weaving, the books flow into each other as if they always meant to be connected. Some of Mlászho’s works are currently on display at the Venice Art Biennale in the Brazil Pavilion.
