Where are you from? How does that place influence the way you photograph?
From San Clemente, CA but currently living in San Francisco. I could photograph the ocean all day, that I get from my home town. San Francisco got me into shooting on a regular basis, there’s beauty all around and every type of it. It got me shooting a wider variety of subjects.
What are your favorite environments to shoot in?
Environment can include many different factors, I am most comfortable shooting with a small group of friends. I like natural lighting, indoor or outdoor but usually outdoor. Foggy and overcast days suit the tones that I like. And the coast is always a favorite of mine.
What are the strengths of shooting primarily mobile? How does this affect your imagery?
Shooting mobile got me into a whole new style of photography, it got me shooting every day things and I started seeing simpler parts of photos I found appealing. My phone has become my primary tool for photography, it’s convenient, the quality is good, edit on the go, travel light. There are many strengths.
Who and what are the things that inspire you?
My sister has always been a creative inspiration to me, as well as my parents. Nature contains endless inspiration. I definitely have many times where I lack inspiration and I find it helps to just stop looking for a while.

Tell us a little about your everyday.
Right now I work full time as a civil engineering intern. I explore on weekends with friends. I also try to find as much down time as I can to cook and be at home and refuel creatively.
I love to be home with family, we cook together and hang at home and are very content in that. Music and film are other things I try to include in my day to day. Film as in movies, I like film photography too.
