When doctors already couldn‘t help him, Ignas packed his belongings and left for abroad. Photographer doesn‘t search for importance of the picture‘s location. Focusing more on when, how and in which emotion state they where taken Ignas intend to hide the real place in order to create fairy-tale type atmosphere. Detroit – is a heaven for “abandoned” lovers. Detroit houses photo story is all about the leftovers of a human existence. Only Ignas way of seeing it makes them contrary to sad or quiet. Abandoned places are in whole new amplua here. They are colorful and bright. Moreover, photographer chooses analog – first of all its a respect for photography. Secondly, digital doesn‘t have the feels or realness – it is like a rubber doll. Ignas needs to believe in what he sees, even if it is just a reflection.
