“Recently I spend more and more time at home. A close connection has formed to the flat, I examine continuously the effects of this narrow physical comfort zone. Everyday’s insecurity replaces the calmness of home, which creates dependency: the more I feel safe the more I want to be there and it is very difficult to leave it. The series presents an idyllic state; it is a calm feeling what is confirmed by artistic productivity and also the knowledge of creation can be done in this environment. After a while it comes an opposite distracted feeling too: home can provide some kind of peace, but not the complete peace of mind. Unsatisfied feelings constantly occur; anxiety: the desire to rediscover the outside world. Using lights as a direct way is the main element of the series, the formed contrasts can express this passive, anxious situation.”
