Ink-and-wash Collection

Ink-and-wash collection from EY Products Recycled and handcrafted wooden pieces, taking shape of traditional Chinese painting. Inspired by the most prestigious form of Chinese art: ink-and-wash, EY designers transformed deserted ebony wood scraps into the unique pieces of art. Recycled and handcrafted from nature, they can be used for daily desktop usage, table plates and hoe decor. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and eY designers certainly see traditional Chinese paintings in these wood scraps on their factory visit. Trying to recycle the deserted scraps and impose the least harm on the environment, they achieved to marry resin to the scraps. Where others simply recycle the wood, ink-and-wash collection adds a completely unique oriental aesthetics and imagination. Each unique pieces of ebony rings a rhythmic balance between brightness and darkness, and a natural look and feel that will wear over time to give them their own individual beauty.
