OPEN for humans / Skyscape

“Skyscape”- a site specific ephemeral installation consisting of pine timbers, mirrors and acrylic paint strategically placed at varying heights and angles, mimicking a topographic landscape. The piece introduces an organic atmospheric element against the urban/concrete surroundings in the downtown LA Arts District. The colors of the sky change throughout the course of the day of which the mood of the structure changes though light and dark contrasting tones depending on the viewer’s perspective. Guests of the installation can take a selfie in the sky. OPEN for humans is a design collaborative between an architect and an artist based in Los Angeles. We are always seeking collaborations with creative brands for experiential work.
