Suburbia

The story was shot in the deepest suburbs of Kiev, Ukraine. All clothes used in this series are from the latest collection by Sasha Kanevski, locally renown Ukrainian designer. As a location, these suburbs are so intense, almost visually toxic though that is the true space where most of the Ukrainian youth (and target audience for brands like Sasha Kanevski) resides. I tried to poeticize Eastern European suburbs, the place where I, and people like me live, without pretending to be “somewhere else”..
